I must admit, I am not the normal staff development presenter. My methods are not like most “sit and get” sessions, I use humor, real life examples, hands-on practices and practical ideas to help solve school-wide issues. I tend to be no-nonsense, down to earth, and humorous. I can inspire educators who are stuck in a rut, inform new teachers, and motivate people in the back row to sit up and ponder.
I have been a classroom teacher, administrator and for 13 years the Assistant Executive Director for the National Middle School Association. I consult with schools all over the world and coordinate the annual Nuts&Bolts Symposiums in Florida and Texas. You may have heard me recently as the Keynote Speaker at the AMLE Conference in Portland, Oregon.
